Privacy Policy
VibeRescue is operated by Timor Suray (Israel), the controller of the personal data described here. Contact: hello@getviberescue.com.
What we collect
- Intake form: your name, email address, GitHub repository URL, chosen product, Rescue Scan result, page language and your description of the problem. Used to triage and do the work you asked for and to reply to you.
- Rescue Scan: runs in your browser and reads public repository structure directly from GitHub. We receive the result only if you submit the intake form.
- Newsletter: your email address and language, only after you confirm through the double opt-in link we email you.
- Analytics (only with your consent): if you click Accept in the cookie banner, we use Google Analytics 4 to count visits and events (page views, form submissions, scans run), along with device, browser, approximate location and referrer data that Google collects. We use Google Consent Mode v2 with analytics and all advertising signals denied by default; Google Analytics is not loaded until you accept, and advertising signals stay denied. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell data.
- Payments: handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. We do not receive or store your card details. See Paddle's privacy notice.
Service providers
- Google Analytics (Google LLC): website analytics.
- Resend: sending transactional email (request confirmations) and newsletter confirmation and delivery.
- Paddle.com: checkout, payments, invoices and tax.
- GitHub: repository access you grant, and public repository data read by the Rescue Scan.
- Our web host, which stores form submissions on its servers.
Some of these providers process data outside your country, including in the United States, under their own safeguards.
Email and newsletter
Newsletter signup uses double opt-in: you are subscribed only after clicking the confirmation link. Every newsletter email has an unsubscribe link, and you can also unsubscribe by emailing us. We send request confirmations only for requests you submitted.
Retention
Intake requests are kept as long as needed to deliver and support the work and to meet tax and accounting obligations. Newsletter data is kept until you unsubscribe. Google Analytics data is kept according to the property's retention setting.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, export or delete your personal data, or object to its use, by emailing hello@getviberescue.com. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Cookies and your choice
Only if you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (for example _ga) to count visits. We store your choice (vr_consent) and your language choice (vr_lang) in your browser's local storage or a cookie. You can change your analytics choice at any time with the "Cookie settings" link in the footer, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser.
